Super Nes sound still is very impressive today. No slowdowns and above all, musics runs perfectly, wich was the most annoying « snes station » issue. The good news, now: When games work, they do work. The only Vampire Kiss i’ve made working in Pal is Castlevania: Vampire's Kiss if i remember well.ģ- some games will only get you into a black screen (Blackthorne, Captain Commando) as far as i tested them.Ĥ- some games will suffer from graphical gliches (as in Final Fight 2, sprites does not align correctly, no problem with Final Fight 3, tho) In pal you’ll get a message telling something like « this pack is not designed for your system » so it seems to be a region-lock related issue. That is the case with Castlevania: Vampire's Kiss or Pop’n Twin bee. Some use additional chips like DSP, FX, etc, so you didn’t expect these to work…but some don’t and should work, like Donkey Kong 1.Ģ- some games will run in japanese or usa but not in pal/eur. approximately 100 roms suffer from this issue. There is no way to run these « grey » games. A playthrough of Mindscapes 1991 license-based action game for the NES, Captain Planet and the Planeteers.Captain Planet is one of those amusing relics of t. Only one version of Donkey Kong 1 is highlighted (and working), a modded one. I Tested this Snesticle: fullset of roms zipped into the roms folder, all files into an iso, the iso on USB drive, launched with Openloader 1.ġ- Some roms are not highlighted (in white) in the list no matter what you do,that is the case with Donkey Kong 2 unfortunately. We probably will need to have some compatibility list made for this eventually. Secret of Mana = has text glitches at the beginning Lufia II : Rise of The Sinistrals = full speed Lufia and The Fortress of Doom = full speed, there are some slight sound issues. Update on Final Fantasy V = still full speed but had some small slow downs when certain music/scene happens, hasn't rendered unplayable yetįire Pro Joshi - All Star Dream Slam = Full speed The folders in this collection organize the games alphabetically.( i should note that none of the games listed here have been fully played to the end with this emulator yet, but the general feeling is, if it boots up and plays fine, its more than likely gonna perform the same to the end )Ĭhrono Trigger = seems full speed except the Time warp animationįinal Fantasy IV or II in US = seems to be in full speed too, except when you change the window color you need to reload the zone to fix the glitching text (only once), there are some other glitches too I've hand-tested these new additions, added 133 more titles overall, upgraded several others to newer revisions, and organized the files much, much cleaner than last time. It was super messy and quite a few new dumps and translations have been completed since then. This is a complete re-work of my previous Super Nintendo set, which I did a couple years back. Systems include N64, GBA, SNES, NDS, GBC, NES, MAME, PSX, Gamecube and more. Non-working dumps, duplicates, prototypes of games that eventually saw a release, versions not in English when English was available, Japanese and European versions of titles when a North American version was available, hacks, modern homebrew games, and titles not in English that require proficiency in another language to play - Those can be found in my " Super Nintendo Entertainment System Language Pack" here: /details/language-pack-super-nintendo-entertainment-system-champion-collection Download from the largest and cleanest ROMs and emulators resource on the net. If you're only after the actual games in this set, feel free to delete those titles named above. None of these extras are "games" in the typical sense - They contain multimedia programs and Super Nintendo applications/program carts that I believe are important to preserve. "ACME Animation Factory," " Controller Test Cassette," " Game Genie (Rev 2)," " Game Saver (Rev 1.7)," " Kaite Tsukutte Asoberu Dezaemon," " RPG Tsukuru: Super Dante," " RPG Tsukuru 2," " SA-1 Demonstration Program," " SNES Burn-In Test Cartridge," " SNSP Aging Test (Rev 1.02)," " Squaresoft Mode 7 Demo," " Super Disc System Cartridge," " Super Game Boy," " Super Game Boy 2," " The Miracle Piano Teaching System," " World Class Service Super Nintendo Tester," and " XBAND (Rev 1.0.1)." Unreleased prototypes, games not in English (but only if they were easy enough to play without being fluent in another language), English-patched translations, plus these extras: Want to learn more about how I put my collections together, discover my other vintage content, or join the Retro Game Champion community on Discord, Twitch, and your socials?
